Casa to sunset iOS 15 support on February 1, 2025

To keep your bitcoin security robust, some maintenance is required every so often. Casa will be discontinuing support for iOS 15 on February 1, 2025. We are also planning to discontinue iOS 16 later in 2025.

Software is always evolving and vulnerabilities are generally exposed over time. It is critical that you regularly update software as new patches are released to keep your devices in working order and prevent them from being targeted with known exploits.

For Casa clients currently using iOS 15, we recommend you either upgrade to a newer version or, in some cases, upgrade to a newer device. iOS 15 is the latest supported version for several iPhone models: 

• iPhone 7
• iPhone 7+
• iPhone SE (Generation 1)

If you choose to continue the Casa app within iOS 15, you will not be able to update the app, receive bug fixes, or access new features.

This change does not affect bitcoin and other assets held in Casa vaults. To resume interacting with your Casa account, download the latest version of the Casa app and log in.
